At SOP Master, protecting the privacy of our visitors, students, and creators is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account information: your name, email address, and password (or Google account identifier, if you sign in with Google) when you register as a student or a creator.
Payment information: course purchases and creator subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles and stores payment details under its own privacy and security standards.
Course and platform activity: enrollments, progress, completions, and content you submit within courses, including AI-assisted content you generate.
Communications: transactional and account emails are sent through Resend. If you contact us for support, we keep a record of that correspondence.
Log and device data: IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and timestamps, collected automatically when you use the platform.
Cookies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used.
How We Use Information
We use the information above to provide and improve the platform; process payments and subscriptions; deliver course content and certificates; send account, billing, and support communications; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and, where a creator has enabled AI-assisted features, generate course content using OpenAI's API. Only the specific content submitted for that purpose is sent to OpenAI — we do not send your full account data.
Creators and Student Data
If you are a creator, you can see the enrollment, progress, and contact information of students enrolled in your own courses, so you can support them and run your academy. Creators may not use student data for purposes unrelated to their course — such as unrelated marketing — without the student's consent, and may not sell or share it with third parties.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
SOP Master uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure how the platform is used. Some cookies are essential to the platform working correctly; others are optional and can be limited through your browser settings or the choices on our Do Not Sell or Share My Info page.
Third-Party Services
We share the minimum information necessary with the service providers that make the platform work, including Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google (optional sign-in), and OpenAI (optional AI content generation, when a creator uses that feature). Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
Data Retention
We retain account and course data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account data as described below.
Your Choices
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of non-essential cookies and marketing emails, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before making changes to protect your account.
Children's Information
SOP Master is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
